Dongman Lee

Professor, KAIST , Repulic of Korea


Dongman Lee received the BS degree in Computer Engineering from SNU, Korea in 1982, and the MS degree and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from KAIST, Korea in 1984 and 1987, respectively. He is currently Professor at Computer Science Department, KAIST. His research interests include mobile wireless networking, social-aware ubiquitous computing, and mobile ad-hoc cloud computing.




Title: Services WG Activities and Challenges in Smart IoT

Abstract:
Service WG is working on the survey and analysis of new services deployed upon Future Internet technologies. We invite experts from various areas and discuss technical challenges to support servicves over Future Internet platforms. In this presentation, we consider new service opportunities in IoT (Internet of Things) environments and point out challenging issues of service provision and network adaptation. We talk about smart IoT environments covering from a smart home to smart communities which consitst of multiple smart spaces.
